GSBA Educational Summit: Student Mental Health

There is no doubt that student mental/ emotional health is a growing challenge in our schools. Research reflects that in today’s classroom of 25 students, at least 5 of them may be quietly struggling with symptoms of mental or emotional health issues such as anxiety, depression, neglect, trauma or substance misuse. Join a conversation on what school boards, school staff, community members and families can do to support schools in meeting the vast needs of Georgia’s 1.7 million public school children.
