Session Overview: Hiding in Plain Sight: School Counselors, a Sometimes Underutilized Resource

Even though school counseling has broad and deep research on impacting student academic success and social/emotional health, it remains an underutilized resource in many of our schools. Learn specific steps to advocate for more time with students. Counselors will leave with easy to use, concrete steps that you and your principal can take to increase your access to students in classrooms and small groups and show your impact on student academic success and social/emotional well being.
